About this interview
A case interview on Entry & Program-Specific, pitched at the easy level. A voice AI interviewer leads the conversation, adapts its questions to your answers, keeps you on topic, and afterward gives you honest, specific feedback on where you were strong and where to improve. Expect roughly 30 minutes.
What you'll be assessed on
Design under the 'potential over experience' grading lens — prioritize structured thinking and learning velocity over domain polish
Avoid the APM-specific 'breadth without depth' failure mode of listing many features with no prioritization track record to anchor a cut
Commit to a single MVP cut when forced under simulated scarcity ('which one would you cut first') without adding scope back in to seem more competitive
Tie a design's scope explicitly back to the value proposition that justified the product in the first place (e.g. not re-adding a peer-mentor marketplace onto a checklist-first MVP whose entire promise is getting a first-gen student through their first semester without family precedent)
Handle a lighter technical/systems-oriented follow-up round some APM teams layer onto the standard loop
What to expect
A greenfield product-design case built specifically for APM and new-grad loops -- gentler, more scaffolded follow-ups than a standard IC session.
Practice narrowing a broad user group into a real segment, generating genuinely different solution ideas, and making (and defending) a real MVP cut under friendly pressure.
Includes a lighter technical-systems follow-up, the kind some APM teams layer onto the standard design round.
