About this interview
A case interview on Strategy, pitched at the hard level. A voice AI interviewer leads the conversation, adapts its questions to your answers, keeps you on topic, and afterward gives you honest, specific feedback on where you were strong and where to improve. Expect roughly 30 minutes.
What you'll be assessed on
Set a specific, numbered business objective with a timeframe rather than restating the prompt
Generate a structured set of 3 distinct strategic options and engage in genuine two-way trade-off discussion rather than a monologue
Steelman the option not chosen when asked what would have to be true for it to win
Name a North Star metric that tracks the real risk being managed (e.g. retention, not signups) paired with an explicit guardrail
Surface an unresolved instrumentation gap (e.g. unknown cost-to-serve) as an explicit caveat on the recommendation
What to expect
A workforce-scheduling company is watching a well-funded rival aggressively undercut price in one specific slice of its customer base.
You'll set a real objective, build out genuinely different strategic paths for responding, and defend a recommendation under direct pushback -- including making the case for the option you didn't pick.
It's a strong test of whether you can hold a position under real back-and-forth instead of just presenting a plan.
