About this interview
A roleplay interview on Seniority & format ladder, pitched at the medium level. A voice AI interviewer leads the conversation, adapts its questions to your answers, keeps you on topic, and afterward gives you honest, specific feedback on where you were strong and where to improve. Expect roughly 30 minutes.
What you'll be assessed on
State Situation scale in real or realistic org-wide numbers (headcount, budget, revenue) rather than team-level detail dressed up in executive language
Name the specific peer or board-level pushback encountered and their strongest argument, since an uncontested 'significant' decision reads as implausible at this scale
Describe both the analytical case built and the separate political/organizational work of earning buy-in from peers who don't report to them
State the business result in the same units the situation was framed in, plus an explicit retrospective view on whether they'd make the same call again
Hold composure under a senior-leader persona's direct challenges (e.g. 'what data was initially inconclusive?') without retreating to vague qualitative claims
What to expect
Sit across from a CEO who is personally deciding whether to trust you with a VP seat.
Bring a real company-wide, contested decision — team-level stories will get called out on the spot.
Practice holding a concrete number under direct challenge instead of drifting into vague language.
